I want to thank you so much for your support of the MBA of Texas
in the year of 2008. Your faithfulness to pray for the Missionaries
and assist financially is a great blessing from our God. I want
to encourage you to continue the support for our Missionaries.
We have ten Missionaries this year. That is something to be very
thankful for. Nine of the Missionaries will receive monthly support
from the MBA thru their sponsoring churches and the tenth one
is on designated funds. Let us not forget to support Heritage
MBC in Center. Please send your designated offerings for this
worthy project.
We have increased our support payout by more than $7,500.00 each month. Last year there were six Missionaries and the payout was low. It is with thankfulness that we will send ten churches support this year. We do have a good balance in our bank account and I am not concerned about that. I just want to encourage you to continue your generous support for the MBA of TX and these men who are spreading the Gospel in our state.
Let me know if you want the Secretary-Treasurer to visit your
church. We will be happy to visit when it is convenient for you.

The Lord added four more to Life Touch this month. Our holiday meal was enjoyed by all! We had a total of 42 (13 guests were present). Our Monday evening Bible study is bringing us all closer as we continue to study Revelation. A Catholic lady is coming and she opened her home to us one meeting. God is so good!
In January our ladies are beginning a study on “Captivating;
Unveiling The Mystery Of A Woman’s Soul.” This will
be a journey into the heart of God. Our ladies are very excited
about this new Bible study. Our monthly GROW program has been
a great outreach. We have never had so many involved.
We are excited about what 2009 will bring. God is faithful!

Sunday School 38 Morning Worship 38
Total Church Offering $5,275.00 Paid For Rent $750.00
The past four years have been filled with ups and downs. Through it all we have seen the hand of God at work! Many souls have been reached for Christ, not only in Grapevine, but throughout the world. Yes, God is blessing and I’m so happy to be a part of what God is doing in Grapevine. Much of this work has been supported by the generous gifts from our Association and sponsoring churches. I want to say thank you for everything you have done to provide a financial foundation for this new work. I’m so glad to tell you that your support can officially end. We are able to sustain our monthly expenses and are well on our way to being financially stable. The best part of this process is that we are now able to support other ministries and mission efforts. We consider this a wonderful blessing and a positive return on your investment in God’s work. The work in Grapevine seeks to support missionary efforts.
A few have commented that we should continue in our efforts for support due to the fact that we have no building. I have grown to realize how insignificant having a building truly is to God’s work. We are looking forward to additional moves in the future to temporary locations. Eventually God will reveal His plans for a permanent structure. We realize that God is in control.
I would love to share the history of our journey with you and
your church. I can share the wonderful times and the challenging
times. How we failed and how God was successful.
Please feel free to contact me at 817-343-5900 if you would like
to schedule a Sunday evening.
We have a long way to go to becoming what God is calling us to become. We continue moving forward, loving God and sharing that love with the many that we encounter each day. Please keep us in your prayers.

Total Church Offering $336.00 Gave To Missions $50.00
Greetings to all. I hope all of you had good holidays this season. We don’t have relatives here but we invited brethren to share our Christmas eve supper. We used this time, when people think of holidays and gifts, to teach them the real significance of Christmas and the true gift, Christ Jesus, Who came from heaven to give eternal life.
Pray for the Mission work in Alto and Price. Our visa to stay
here will expire very soon and we can’t continue working
here unless God will open the doors for us to do the Mission work.

Sunday School 8 Morning Worship 15 Evening Worship 15
Total Church Offering $885.00 Gave To Missions $239.00
CENTER – We finished the year with a special service in
Center. We had a good fellowship in remembrance of our Lord Jesus
Christ. We received a report from Bro. Lorenzo who is in Puebla,
Mexico. He sends the report that he is teaching God’s Word
to two families. The church voted to send him ministerial supplies
such as Bible, tracts, and other literature. Also, the church
voted to start sending support to him for his needs. Please pray
for lost people of Puebla and that our Lord can use Bro. Lorenzo
in a great way.
TATUM – Bethel MBC already voted to buy the materials to
fix the floor of the building in Tatum. We will begin the work
next month. I hope we can start having services in February.
LONGVIEW – We gave gifts to new kids who come to our services.
The total was nine and eight adults. We received $325.00 in offerings
the past two months. We are excited to work in this area next
year. We know this community is full of Hispanic people but we
know that only God can change their minds and hearts. Please pray
for the people.
I received a call from Mexico that my father is in the hospital
in Monterey. I have not seen him for almost eighteen years. My
uncle said he is in bad shape. I am taking my family to travel
there to see him for the last time I hope our Lord will give me
the opportunity to preach to all of the people at my father’s
side that they might be saved thru the blood of Jesus Christ.

Morning Worship Attendance – 13
Total Church Offering - $1,242.47
I’d like to thank the messengers of the missionary Baptist
Association for approving me for half salary. It is truly a blessing
to have our State Association behind us in this work in Brownwood,TX.
December was a good month for Grace Pointe as the mission began to take shape. We have another family that has partnered with us in this work. They will specialize in Children’s Ministry. I am teaching the people who congregate with us about what a church is so things such as missions giving will come along as the Mission begins to understand what we’re doing. Currently, we are working toward getting a mid-week youth program started and are working to bring more people into God’s fold.
Our services are being held in the Brownwood Phase II Apartments’
Community Room. If you’re out in West Central Texas, come
on out and visit with us.

Total Church Offering $3,098.11 Gave To Missions $465.00
The Lord blessed in November with two by baptism. The month of
December we had 13 visitors. I have had health problems with my
lungs and missed three services. This limited my ability to visit.
Each Saturday, weather permitting, we have four to five out knocking
on doors. We had a memorial service for the child of one of our
members who was killed in a car wreck. Our attendance has been
down because of much sickness among our members. We would like
to thank you for your prayers and for the support of our sister
churches.

Dear Brethren, I first of all want to express my thanks to the
messengers of the Missionary Baptist Association of Texas for
placing me on the roster as a Missionary on Designated Funds for
this coming year. I would also like to thank the participating
churches of the Texas Mission Development for giving us the first
quarter offerings for 2009. We at Heritage are looking forward
to getting on with the repair of our building and getting our
outreach going. We had ten first time visitors in December. If
any of you would like for me to come and present our work to your
church, Mission Rally or any other program, just let me know.
You can contact me at 936-598-3914 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

or by regular mail at P.O. Box 211, Center, TX 75935. We need
to raise approximately $2,500.00 each month to get us back in
the black. We have been in the red for about three years. God
bless you for your help.

RICKY O’NEAL
BEREAN PRISON BIBLE STUDIES
December has been an especially busy month for us as the volume
of mail and courses continues to blossom. We had twenty-eight
(28) saved, 56 Bibles given, 19 Family Packs, (165 #1 packs)(35
#2 packs)(25 #3 packs)(28 #4 packs)(9 #5 packs), plus 344 Christmas
cards, plus 128 Gospel Call packages containing 3,712 Gospel Calls.
Our total number of packages for the month was 472, just a little
short of last month’s record month. I am continually blessed
by the number of God’s people who are behind this work and
the number of inmates who are thirsting for it. If you are reading
this and you have a friend or loved one behind bars, please let
us know as they are in a perfect place
for God to reach them, but also for Satan to reach them. Please
send us their name and number and we will get the material to
them that has seen 288 saved this year and over 1,668 since the
beginning of this mission endeavor. Thanks to everyone who supports
this work. Without your help we couldn’t throw the lifepreserver
to those who are perishing. I am thankful to be able to devote
all my time to this work. Since I was given mission status you
have freed up my hands to do this work full time, and then some.
Please keep Cathy and me in your prayers.

TEXAS MISSION DEVELOPMENT
I continue to enjoy representing the Texas Mission Development throughout Texas. I am very excited about being a part of Texas State Missions. I am so much looking forward to being able to leave my secular job and represent TMD full time. I am grateful to the churches of the MBA of Texas for helping Rocky Springs MBC support me with half salary.
December was a busy month and I loved it. I presented the TMD program to University MBC of Tyler. They have supported us since their beginning but wanted the membership to be better informed of how our program works.
I was invited to conduct Sunday services at the Rusk State Hospital and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ with about 60 in attendance. I taught two Wednesday night lessons at Rocky Springs MBC and held three Nursing Home services.
The week of Christmas we counted the TMD ballots and mailed out 185 ballot result letters. Heritage MBC of Center was chosen by our supporters to be our first quarter project.
I am looking forward to January. I already have four appointments scheduled. Please keep Dorothy and me in your prayers as we travel to the appointments.
