Beginning Balance - $245,199.84
Offerings - $31,781.51*
Designated/LaMarque - $242.92
Designated/Land and Building Fund - $132.12
Missionary Salaries - $17,836.00
Administrative Salaries/Expense - $2,505.85
Ending Balance - $256,264.46

*Did you notice that the offerings for the month of December were much larger than normal? This is because one church gave a very generous special offering to State Missions. The Pastor stated that the church had been exceptionally blessed and they wanted to share it. Praise the Lord!

The year of 2007 is now here. During this new year it is my prayer that you will frequently remember the Missionaries who labor in our state and lift them up in prayer to our Lord. They
certainly need our prayers and need to know that we, God’s people, pray for them often.

The poster for the MBA of Texas 2007 is being prepared and your church should receive one soon. When you receive it, please post it in a prominent place so that the church members can
see it and be reminded to pray for the Missionaries. If you want more than one, let me know.

We do enjoy visiting among the churches so let us know if you are having a service that you would like for us to be involved in. .

The Texas Missions Conference on Pastoral Leadership will be on Tuesday, April 24th and will be held in the facilities of New Liberty Baptist Church in Garland. We are hoping and praying for good attendance. There will be more information about the Conference coming out soon.

“Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.”

We had a very successful but challenging month in December. With the warm, dry weather we were able to spread the gospel to even more in the community and were able to see two accept the Lord. We are confident that He is still working in other lives as well. We were also finally able to make great progress on getting our sign installed. This seems like it is taking a lot of time and trouble but we realize that our God is worth it all. This is going to cost us $4,350.00 to do and we know that it will also be worth the expense. We are still searching for a co-sponsoring church to help Twinland MBC with this work. If interested, please contact me at 832-486-9330
and I would love to share more with you.

One of my biggest concerns as we end this first year in Sugar Land is that more people have a burden for seeing the lost saved in this area. It continues to be a fast growing area. Yes, we need financial help in a very big way. We also need workers who will step up and walk beside us as we follow God’s will in planting a church here. I am praying daily for more souls to be saved and more families to begin attending the services.

We would like to thank all who have begun supporting the work here. Please send all support to Emmanuel MBC, 11134 Hwy. 6 South, Suite 202, Sugar Land, TX 77478 or to Twinland MBC, 16300 Wallisville Rd., Houston, TX 77049. I am available at any time to share this much needed work with any who are interested. Please call me at 832-486-9330 or 713-492-4837. May God bless all who read this and pray for the 450,000 lost souls in Fort Bend County, Texas.

Christmas Blessing! Sonja Johnny, 13 years of age, received Christ as Savior during our Christmas service. Sonja has been attending regularly for at least a year. Sixty gathered for our first annual Christmas program as we celebrated the birth of our Lord.

Following a slump in November the offerings seem to be stabilizing this month. We are looking forward to a fruitful 2007. God is so good! Thank you for your prayers and come visit us when you can.

“This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:21-23

Thanks to our Lord, the source of our strength and our hope. God has graciously brought us through another year and we are so grateful to Him for all that He has done for the Hopewell family. It is hard to believe that 2006 has passed us by. We are looking forward to 2007 being as gratifying and as rewarding as this past year. Especially in the area of souls being won for Christ. In December we witnessed 5 souls trust Jesus as Lord and give their hearts to Christ. We will begin the New Year by baptizing 4 of those new converts. Praise God!

We are now completely moved into our new building and really enjoying the extra space. We have even seen our attendance

steadily increasing with even more first time visitors each Sunday. All signs indicate that we will have to go to two services in the near future. Our attendance average has gone up by nearly fifty since moving into our new facility and for the month of December we added eighteen new members. Nearly half of those additions are young adults. God is good!

Our biggest need now is additional parking. We currently have enough parking for 56 vehicles and actually need twice as many spaces. We received one quote of over 40K to add 11,000 sq. ft. of concreted parking lot and we are waiting on a second bid. Every

Sunday all parking spaces are occupied and with the recent rain events, getting the cars in and out has been challenging and somewhat messy. There is no room to park along the roadway either. Please pray for us and this immediate need. We will be looking at options regarding a fellowship hall as well. Again, we covet your prayers and support with this need also.

Thanks to those who contribute regularly as well as those who give one-time donations. Please continue to partner with us prayerfully and financially. The Lord provides! I am grateful to our Texas Mission Development, the MBA of Texas, Mission Bend BC of

Houston, Calvary MBC of Baytown, Florida Avenue BC of Beaumont and Baker Drive BC of Dickinson. Without you, and others like you, without the monetary gifts and prayers for this Mission, we could not do the work that we do for Christ. I say this with much love and an abundance of blessings.

The month of December is my favorite month of the year. It is the time we can reflect on the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This is a special time to think of the greatest person who was born into this sinful world, and to think He came to die for you and me.

The Lord blessed us with a good month. Our Golden Saints enjoyed a good fellowship at a local restaurant. On Christmas Eve morning our choir and young people presented a musical program honoring our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. They did an outstanding job.

Several of the children and teens who attend Discovery Club classes received awards, pins, and badges. We had a high attendance of 51 and an average of 38 in the Wednesday evening services.

We are continuing to have visitors and are looking for additions in the near future. Look us up at “http:www.vbctyler.com Thank you for the prayers and support.

Greetings dear friends. 2007 is upon us and we are looking for bigger and better things in this new year. We were blessed as two of our young people accepted the Lord, were baptized and then married. What a way for our Lord to add to his church. Please pray for this wonderful work as we go ahead into 2007. May God bless and keep each of you.

I would like to begin by stating how greatly appreciated is your support of the work in Grapevine. It has been a tremendous year of blessings. We praise God for it all.

This month we have had many visitors. Several of these visitors are excited about the work and return to worship services. We continue to share the gospel and the love of Christ each week. We are preparing ourselves to be used by God in a powerful way!

We are now finalizing our plan for the year. This will include our community outreach, mission trips and the launch of our small groups program.

Here are some highlights for the month
.
- Attendance continues to grow. Currently we are averaging 51.

- We are signing our lease for a year at the current location. We have been at “comfortable” capacity for some time. Please pray for this situation.

- We are continuing our efforts to purchase an old church facility in the heart of Grapevine. The current owner continues to support our efforts. We are in need of funds for our building program if you would like to help.

- We have our mission video available to any church that would like to review it. Please email me if you would like a copy.

- We are continuing our prayers for a leader in the youth program. If you feel called to lead in this area, please contact me.

- I am available to share the work in Grapevine at any time. Please contact me if you would like for me to share with your church.. Telephone 817-343-5900 Email: cprodgers@charter.net

- Offerings have been received for two Medical Missions trips this year ($11,100.00) We are excited about this mission trip. We are hosting a Mission Dinner in mid-January in our home for those who would like to go on a Mission trip.

May the Lord bless you.

God’s blessings always amaze me as to how many and how great they are. December was no exception either. We have had 13 additions this month with 2 by baptism and 11 either by letter or statement. Also, we have seen our attendance jump to a high of 33 and a low of 23 in our morning worship service. We continue to have many visitors coming, as well. Our Children’s Chapel has grown from one to an average of 8.

Our building program is on track, too. As soon as we get the plans back from Bro. Reed we will have the civil engineer complete his work and the contractor get his final figures together. We are praying to be ready to break ground by Homecoming in May and construction to begin soon after that. Please join us in prayer that God will continue to bless our efforts to reach this community for His honor and glory.
