The fifth Texas State Missions Conference will be held on Tuesday,
April 22nd this year. The Conference will be held in the Turner
Activities Building of New Liberty Baptist Church in Garland.
The address is 333 West Centerville Road. The time is 9:00 a.m.
to 3:30 p.m.
The Conference will be different this year. Our main concern is
for the young people. The Conference theme will be “Recapturing
Generation Lost.” Bro. Robert Wallace is putting the program
together. In addition to Bro. Wallace, the speakers are Bro. Alvin
Dickerson, Missionary to Scotland, Bro. Randall Reeves, Pastor
of Cedar Creek MBC in Palestine, Bro. Matt Gholson, Pastor of
Ebenezer MBC near Henderson, and Bro. Ben Pomales, Pastor of Frontier
MBC in Angleton.
I want to encourage each one to attend this very special session.
This is not just for Pastors. It is also for Youth Leaders, S.S.
Teachers, Discovery workers, etc. Please plan to attend the meeting
so you can be more effective in your work for our Lord.
“PRAY YE THEREFORE THE LORD OF THE HARVEST
THAT HE WILL SEND FORTH LABORERS INTO HIS HARVEST.”

Hello from Sugar Land. This will be the last report that I will issue as the Missionary/Pastor of Emmanuel MBM. I have resigned from this position to accept the pastorate of First MBC of Haworth, OK. My resignation to the sponsoring church, Twinland MBC of Houston, was issued effective January 31, 2008. On January 23, 2008 in special business conference, Twinland MBC made the decision to accept my resignation effective as of January 20, 2008. This is when I had informed them of my intent to resign. They also made the decision to withdraw sponsorship of Emmanuel MBM.
I ask that you be much in prayer for Twinland MBC. They are currently
without a pastor and are beginning the search process. At this
time, they are still responsible for the lease on the building
that Emmanuel was meeting in.
This is still a much needed work in a highly populated area on
the southwest side of the Houston metro area. My prayer is that,
in the near future, there will be another work started in this
area.
I would like to thank the churches and individuals that have prayed for and/or have financially supported the work in Sugar Land. Please pray for me as I start this new pastorate.

God is blessing Northgate MBC. We had two saved and another rededication from our Saturday visitation. We are looking forward to a sunrise service on Easter Sunday.
This month we began a lifegroup in our home. This is about inviting neighbors to a Bible study while building relationships. After four weeks, we have grown to ten people. Our aim is to branch off into other homes. Keep praying for Northgate and come for a visit with us.

This month my wife and I knocked on nine (9) doors in Tatum. Two men and one woman accepted the Lord as their Savior. We have had special help from Bro. Jeremiah Carson. He helped us to work in the Tatum area and in Center.
In January we had a special service to dedicate our first small building of Iglesia Bautista Emanuel. Also, the church voted to start supporting Bro. Jerimiah Carson with monthly offerings. We had one young lady saved. Thanks for your prayers and your love in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Greetings from Meadowbrook. We at Meadwobrook would once again like to say thank you for your continued support of this wonderful work. Words cannot express how much you all mean to us. Without the prayers and support of committed brothers and sisters who are walking with the Lord, many churches would suffer. Please remember us when you say your prayers today.

The Lord continues to bless the work in Grapevine! I am excited about the opportunities that the Lord presents each month to share the Gospel. We are excited about the month of March as we continue to lead an initiative for personal Bible study. This will ensure a solid Biblical foundation for the work in Grapevine. We are seeing many lives transformed by Christ. It is a wonderful blessing!
I will not be able to attend the ABA messenger meeting in June. I have a full time job and the vacation time is just not available for attendance. We will miss seeing everyone this year.
We have started our process with the IRS and state government for organizational processes. I’m learning that it is a lengthy process with a lot of paperwork. Bryan Easterling has engaged the services of a law firm to help with this process. I would encourage anyone going down this path to do the same.
We are making plans for a VBS in New Mexico with the Navajo Nation. Bro. Jerry Baker is providing all the information and all is going well. We will be traveling there in July. We continue to have visitors and each visitor has returned to another service. This is a blessing!
At this time we are available to share the work with your church. Our biggest need is prayer as we seek a new meeting location and building funds. We are very near capacity. By mid-summer we hope to be moving to a new rented location.

By the grace of God, my family and I continue to work, and make efforts to win the lost for Christ. I mention my family because they are my team and without them I cannot do my work.
Our activities in February were normal. Sunday mornings we are in Alto, Sunday evening in Price, Wednesday in Alto and Saturday in Henderson. Also, we are knocking on doors and making home visits to teach God’s Word. On the last Sunday of February we decided to make a change in schedule. We decided to combine the services in Henderson and Price. In other words, we will no longer have services in Henderson, only in Price each Sunday evening. Pray for us as we are looking for better ways to reach the people for God.
