The MBA of Texas received a very generous offering in July. We are very thankful for this special offering. We were told to use it where needed. God bless the givers.

The deadline for receiving requests for support from the MBA of Texas is Monday, September 15th. If your church needs request forms, please let me know. In October there will be a list of those who are asking for support.

We desperately need more Missionaries. There are millions of people in our state who have not heard the true Gospel. Please pray that God will call more missionaries. Please pray that those who are called will answer. Please pray that more churches will step up and be a sponsoring church for a missionary. Our time might be short and the need is now. “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.”

The pre-associational meeting requested by the messengers last November will be held on Tuesday, October 7th beginning at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at Walnut Street MBC in Hillsboro. This is a very important meeting and a good representation of our churches is being prayed for. Every church should send someone to this meeting. If you need information about the meeting, please call me at 972-272-7727 or send an email to cbmin1@verizon.net.

Praise the Lord for another soul that belongs to Him! During our Saturday morning outreach program, we were able to lead a teenager to Christ. Her name is Eva and we would appreciate your prayers for her growth. We were also blessed with the addition of two ladies to our membership.

July began our first meeting of the “Young At Hearts.” This is a ministry to those over fifty years of age. There were thirty present as we laughed and enjoyed the ministry of Richard Weiss. We hope this will prove to be a strong ministry opportunity.

We ended the month with a celebration of the life of our deacon, Bro. Hub Murray. Hub has served Northgate for forty two years and is a tremendous blessing to me and to our membership. Thank you for praying for us at Northgate MBC.

The Lord continues to bless Vanderbilt MBC. Our attendance was down this month due to sickness and vacations but we had some additions and many first time visitors.

We had 38 young people and sponsors attend Pine Springs Baptist Camp in July. Three girls were saved at camp and one was saved after she came home from camp. We will have a baptismal service for two of these girls soon.

School will start soon, vacations will be over and we are expecting an increase in our attendance. We are excited about our prospects. If you are visiting in the Tyler area you are welcome to visit our services.

Hello dear friends. We have seen another month fly by. July was a busy month for us here at Meadowbrook. We had Church Camp at Pine Springs and we hosted the District Ladies Auxiliary.

We were blessed at Camp this year. Two young men came forward and accepted Jesus. We had two young ladies rededicate their lives. The Ladies Auxiliary meeting was a success. We are blessed with a wonderful Ladies’ group.

Our attendance seems to be down this month due to summer vacations. We are still seeing results from our outreach in the Communities that surround Meadowbrook. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to share the gospel in our Community. May God bless and keep all of you.

Total Church Offering $7,980.00 Gave To Missions $2,800.00 Paid For Rent $750.00

The month of July was a tremendous blessing. God is continuing to bless the efforts to plant a church in Grapevine, TX. I would like to thank you for your continued support of the work – your prayers are valued the most. The support funds are greatly appreciated. I am very excited to write that we will not be requesting supporting funds in 2009. The Mission is doing well financially and we are prepared to become self-supporting very soon. This is a huge step for a young Mission work. We are praying that God will continue to bless.

We completed a 6 day Mission Trip to the Navajo Nation with Bro. Jerry Baker. We had 22 young missionaries go on this trip – AMEN. We also had 16 people accept Christ – AMEN. Please pray for Bro. Jerry and Sis. Connie Baker. We will be going to the Navajo Nation in 2009. Let me know if you would like to join us.

We are continuing to search for property. We are in prayer about it but not discouraged. We are really in desperate need of more space. We have many new visitors. Attendance is a little down due to summer vacations and travel.

If you have questions, please call me at 817-430-8606 or email me at cprodgers@charter.net. God Bless You.

Sunday School 12 Morning Worship 12 Evening Worship 17
Total Church Offering $1,310.00 Gave To Missions $231.00

July was a really busy month for my family. We had the Hispanic Church Camp in San Antonio. This is a great opportunity for reaching people for Christ. I want to express my thanks to Bro. Keith Rowton and his team for organizing this Camp the past two years. Please pray for this dream that Bro. Keith has for the Hispanic people in Texas.

This month the Lord blessed in Center. Bro. Alejandro traveled fifty miles several times from Shreveport, LA to attend services. Last Sunday evening the Lord saved him. Praise God!

We are still having Bible lessons in homes in Tatum. Please pray for this town and this work that it can become stable. “…forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” I Cor. 15:58

The church in Center has several needs. Land is needed for a new location. Our building can only seat about 30 people and we do not have a fellowship hall. If you want to help with this work, get in touch with Bro. Tom LeBreton at 936-332-2203. May God Bless!
