Ending Balance - $247,153.15

I want to express my appreciation to each Pastor and church who continue to faithfully support the MBA of Texas Mission Program. The eight Missionaries who are serving this year are making progress but we need so many more Missionaries in Texas NOW! The need is urgent!

Texas has the second largest population in the U.S. with 22,118, 502, with 25 metropolitan areas, many of which have no Missionary Baptist Church. Each metropolitan area is made up of many cities that we need to be planting churches in.There are simply multitudes of people who are not being reached with the gospel of Christ. God has so richly blessed the MBA financially, so now let’s show our thankfulness by getting out and witnessing to those who so desperately need Christ and may not even know it. “PRAY YE THEREFORE THE LORD OF THE HARVEST THAT HE WILL SEND FORTH LABORERS INTO HIS HARVEST.”

As I expected, March has been a very busy month both for me and Emmanuel MBM of Sugar Land. I was able to travel to Farmington, NM to visit with Landmark MBC and their good pastor Bro. Larry Bryant to share our vision for a strong church here in Sugar Lane. We continue with our regular outreach ministries of door to door visitation and distribution of salvation tracts in the community. I ask that you pray for us as we are working with some that have an interest in the
Lord but are hesitant to accept Him.

With money now being available for our sign, we are waiting on approvals from our community action board. They must approve any outside changes to our location. They should be getting back with us very quickly and then we can tell the sign maker - GO!

During the next month I will be traveling to Henderson for a church growth conference and to Garland for a missions conference. I pray that these will give me more ideas for outreach and ministry. Thank you to all who are prayerfully and financially supporting the work here.We need about $800.00 more support per month to be able to meet our current financial responsibilities. We will then be able to seriously look for property for a permanent location. God bless all who have an interest in mission work.

Northgate is experiencing a difficult time with the music for our worship services. Without a regular music director and no pianist we are relying on volunteers and cassette tapes every week. In spite of these music issues, the Spirit has been moving in a unique way this month. We have had several local guests come to see what is going on at Northgate. Also, some of our regulars are becoming more involved in the church ministries. We are devoting Saturday mornings to evangelism around the area. We see slow but steady results from this effort. Bro. Reed brought the message one Sunday morning this month. We were very encouraged by their visit and presence in our services. Thank you for your support.

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world; and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” I John 5:4

God is so good. In our February report it was stated that we did not have any for baptism. However, we did baptize precious souls. These two were scheduled for baptism earlier but could not make it. This brings our total to fifteen baptisms and another one on schedule since we’ve entered our new location. God is awesome! We added four new members to the Hopewell family this month and we are still having several first time visitors each Sunday. There are a couple of families from the new neighborhood visiting and we are really excited about them being with us.

We held our second annual youth sleep-over and our first one in the new location. With the addition of the youth activity area on site it made a world of difference in giving our youth plenty of room to romp and play. We were able to reach out to some of the youth in the neighborhood and even have one of the kids visiting with us on Sundays, along with his mom. Some of the neighborhood kids were allowed to play and eat with our youth but not stay over. More importantly, we were able to minister to them, as well as our own. God is so good at creating opportunities to share the love of Christ.

I look forward to seeing many of you at the Missions Conference being held in Garland in April. Until then may God richly bless and keep you is our prayer. Thanks to those who contribute regularly as well as those who give one-time donations. The Lord provides! I am grateful to Texas Mission Development, the MBA of Texas, Mission Bend BC in Houston, Calvary MBC of Baytown, Florida Avenue BC of Beaumont and Baker Drive BC of Dickinson. Without you, and others like you, without the monetary gifts and prayers for our Mission, we could not do what we do for Christ.

March was a busy month for Vanderbilt. The Lord blessed us with some good prospects for our church. We had good spiritual services and much conviction. I am looking for more additions in the near future. We will have a weekend revival April 20th-22nd. Bro. Charles Williams, Pastor of Alto MBC, will be our evangelist. We will be observing our 8th anniversary during the Sunday morning service.

I request your prayers. I spent a few days in the hospital in March but I am doing much better now. Please continue to pray for us and come to see us when you can.

Greetings Dear Friends. We, here at Meadowbrook, are praising the Lord. He never ceases to amaze us at how His Spirit moves. We continue to see many new faces and this month we were blessed with the information that 1,330 new homes will be built only four miles from the Church. All we can do is rejoice at the fact that new folks are moving into our area and new businesses are now building in Quinlan. Please remember us when you talk to God. We still need the prayers of God’s people. May God bless all who have had a part in this awesome work!

March has been a month of incredible blessings! We are continuing to be overwhelmed at how God is working through this mission work. I want to thank you for your support, and most importantly, your prayers. Please continue to lift us up in your prayers as 2007 will be a critical year for this church plant.

This month I was able to take a vacation with the family. We took a week to relax and enjoy time together. We greatly appreciate Bro. Mike Prince for providing the message on Sunday morning. Everyone is looking forward to another visit from Bro. Mike. Thank you for your support and ministry, Bro. Mike.

We have rented a theater facility for Easter service in downtown Grapevine. We are excited about this outreach effort. We truly pray that we are able to deliver the gospel to the hearts of many. We are continuing our efforts to find a location for meeting. We are still in a stage theater and have access limited to Sunday morning. Please pray as we search for property.

We have several that are going on Medical Missions trips in 2007. The cost will be in excess of $12,000.00. Please pray for these young missionaries. They will be going to Peru and Paraquay.
We are planning to have a family mission trip to the Navajo Nation with Bro. Jerry Baker. This trip will be in July. We are in prayer about this situation.

We had baptism services this month. The service was a tremendous time for celebration. We are blessed to see many come to Christ. AMEN! We truly value your prayers. Lift us up as we seek God’s will for this work. Please contact Craig Rodgers at cprodgers@charter.net if you have any questions.

God is so good. We have so much to be thankful for. March has been a very busy month for us here in Gainesville. Our attendance is coming back up since most our church family is getting over the flu bug that hit us hard here.

The building project is still continuing to come together. Bro. Reed has sent the final plans to us so that we can get the process started with the city for their approval. We ask our prayer partners to pray for that process and make it a matter of prayer for God to open up a less costly way for the old building to be demolished. Finally, we need your prayers for the financial part of this project, too. It looks like it will cost in the neighborhood of $150,000.00 for completion. Building costs continue to rise. Currently we have about $140,000.00 for this project. Keep us in your prayers that we might do many great things for the Lord here in Gainesville.
