I was born in Henderson. Texas Nov. 7, 1948. 1 was saved and baptized Pleasant Hid Missionary Baptist Church in April 1959. In July 1974 Marsha Bryan and ( were married in Broaddus, Texas. ( was ordained to the gospel ministry in September 1974 at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church near Overton, Texas. ( graduated from Texas Baptist Institute with a Bachelor of Theology Diploma in 1977. I received my Master's Degree from Gulf Coast Baptist Institute in 1995. I taught seminary in Gulf Coast Baptist Institute from 1990- 2000. ( served as Registrar, Dean, and President of this school from 1996-2000. I have been privileged to pastor churches in three states-Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

I am now pastor of Heartland Baptist Church in Longview, Texas. This church began in September 2007. We are now meeting at 907 Reel Road. We have property on FM 1345 1/2 mile north of the city limits of Longview. We hope to begin a new building in the early part of 2010. Our average attendance for the past year is 15 SS, 22 MW, and 16 Mid week. We have had 2 additions by baptism and 4 by letter for the past year. God continues to bless Heartland Baptist Church
