About Bro. Daniel Tijerina
Daniel Tijerina was born in McAllen, Texas in 1972. He was saved in 1985 and baptized in 1992 at Mt. Calvary MBC in Pharr, Texas. Daniel surrendered to preach in 2000. He served as Co-Pastor at Mt. Calvary MBC, as Interim Pastor at First Baptist Church in McAllen, Texas, and Interim Pastor at McArdle Road Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas.
In December of 2005 he felt that God was calling him to work in the Mission/McAllen/Edinburg Texas area. He began working out of his home in 2006.
Daniel was ordained under the authority of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church located in Pharr, Texas in 2005 after graduating from the Mexican Baptist Institute in Reynosa, Tamaulipas Mexico. Daniel is a Texas State Missionary, going on half-salary in December 2009.
Daniel is married to Miriam and they have one son: Noe Tijerina III. They reside in Mission, Texas.
