T.M.D. REPORT:
The year 2004 was a record year for the T.M.D. Program. We had a record year with funds totaling $110,000.00. The Second quarter funds was also a record totaling $28,600.00. There were 13 Missions and 7 Churches who quested the funds. The funds this year were presented to 5 projects, because one quarter had a tie for the majority votes cast. Those receiving the funds for 2004 are as follows: The Landmark M.B.C. of Killeen,TX received ----$26,865.00 The Colonial M.B.C of Grand Prairie, TX ----$28,600.00 The North Lake Mission of Denton,Texas ---- $27,500.00 The LaMarque TX. Mission and The Alto TX. Mission---$27,000.00 The funds for these two projects were presented February 5th 2005 These Missions were very grateful to our TMD supporters. Since her beginning in 1972 the Texas Mission Development has presented funds to 131 projects. The funds given to Missions and Struggling churches during our 32 years of history has totaled nearly a Million and a half dollars. We are very thankful to the churches and missions of Texas for the great success of this program, and we give our great God and Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ all the glory. The Alto Mission and the LaMarque Mission received the Texas Mission Development funds on February 5, 2005 at the Mission Rally held with East Side MBC in Jacksonville. There was a tie in the vote so they each received one-half of the offering. Each check was more than $13,000.00. Both of these Missionaries are very thankful to receive the TMD funds.
