Salaries/Expenses $ 18,065
General Fund Closing Balance $ 32,553
April was a very good month for MBA of TX. We started the month off with a visit to a Mission Rally in the Mt. Zion Association that was hosted by Pastor Darrell Owens and Landmark MBC of Mt. Enterprise. We enjoyed the fellowship there and appreciate the offering. Resurrection Sunday offerings actually began in March and continued thru the month of April. Offerings in the amount of approximately $14,000 were received. The churches of Texas have responded well this year. We started off needing special offerings and with Resurrection Sunday offerings, the call was once again answered and we know that God will bless. Mrs. Luther Crawford has been paid the amount directed by the MBA Messengers in November. She has been most helpful to me in this work. She will be relocating soon to be closer to her children. Continue to pray for her.
It is my prayer that when the MBA meets in November that there will be sufficient funds to pay any Missionary who might come requesting salary. Let us pray that God will call and men will answer and we will have more Missionaries and the funds to provide for them. If I can help any of you, please let me know.

April was a very busy month. Our visitation has stepped up and our attendance is reflecting this effort. On April 27th, we had our "Home Coming" and dedication of the addition to our building. We enjoyed the fellowship of all who came to these events. Also, on April 27th, my wife and I repeated our vows after 50 years of marriage. Another special blessing of April was the marriage of Robert Pettigrew and Amy Tucker on April 22nd. There were 90 people in attendance. We also rejoice that we had one soul saved and one member added by letter. We continue to praise God for those who support this Mission through prayers and financial assistance. God bless you!

New Life sends a great big thank you to everyone and a special thanks to all who have supported us financially and with their prayers. The month of April was a great uplift. Some members came back that had not attended in a while. New Life had a great Easter service with 35 attending morning service. It seems that a new joy has come into New Life. The members are very excited and we are looking for some great and mighty things with the help of our Lord. I ask that everyone keep my wife and me in your prayers, as well as the New Life family. During the month of April we enjoyed having some first time guests as well as some return guests. Easter Sunday we enjoyed having an attendance of 50 even though we had quite a number traveling for the Easter holiday. We also enjoyed an Easter cookout and fellowship. We’ve done this for the last few years and have really enjoyed it.
During April we also began putting in place two "teams" to assist in Missions and benevolence. We are so thankful for the Texas Avenue Baptist church family.
We offer our appreciation for those of you who have helped us financially during April. Please continue to pray for Texas Avenue Baptist as we go forward for the Master.

The month of April was encouraging. We had one addition, Bro. Brad Huffman, who is going to be a help in our ministry. We have several visitors coming back regularly. When a couple joined recently, one of our visiting couples
welcomed them saying, "We sure are glad you chose to join our church." At least, they feel at home! He is bringing his riding mower and mowing our five acres which is a huge blessing.
Our people are excited about building the first phase of our permanent structures. Bro. Marion Reed is going to talk to us about possibilities, show us some building plans, and give counsel on May 4. Four of us have met with a bonding company representative. One of our visitors has expressed a desire to meet with us if we meet with that person again. I had the impression he was interested in investment. A bank is not out as far as financing is concerned. We are just exploring possibilities. We are going to need some cash, about $100,000 plus.
Bro. Larry Huffman and I will be doing some deputation for this purpose. We will appreciate serious prayers for the Lord to supply this need.
We are still trying to preach and teach faithfully and go into the neighborhoods around our location.
The mission received $1479 from other churches. Thank God for your faithfulness.

Salvation’s ! There was one young girl got saved this month. Her brother and sister was saved some months ago but she would not come to Church. They were persistent in inviting her to visit and finally she did and she was saved.
Water Line ! It is going to cost about $180,00.00 and so far all we can get committed from others is $100,00.00 Our burden is about $80,000.00. Once this line is in each person that ties into the line will have to pay us back. But we must come up with the $80,00.00. Please make this a matter of prayer?
Buy A Tree ! We have to put about 250 trees on this property. The cost will be $100.00 per inch For example A 3 inch tree will cost about $300.00 and a 2 inch about $200.00 and a 1 inch will cost about $100.00. We are going to put a stone at the base of each tree with the name of the Church and youth group that purchased that tree. If you would like to help us with this please mark your offering for trees.
Buy A Brick ! The time is getting close to building and we still have several thousand brick for you to buy. They are only $5.00 per brick. This gives us all an opportunity to help.
Come Over And Help Us ! We will be doing this in three different stages. On April 5-9 the steel structure. April 19-23 will be the roof and sides. The third crew will be here May 3-14 They will be doing all the interior work. We are in need of all trades. We especially need some brick layers. This will be done in the third phase. Please make plans to be a part of this. These plans are tentative at this time. I will confirm them later on.
Deputation ! I am still looking for Churches to visit on Sunday nights. Please give me a call?
Average Attendance ! We had 29 for S.S. and 29 for Worship Services
Special Thanks ! It is always a joy to look at the faithful Churches that are making it possible for us to build a Church in Denton TX. I thank you so very much for your faithful giving.

Pilot Point
April has been one of the most exciting months we've had since we began our journey to reach the lost of Pilot Point, TX. First Baptist Church disbanded on the 6th of April and Pilot Point Missionary Baptist Mission held it's first service in the Pilot Point Senior Citizens center on the
13th. For most all of us it was an easy and exciting transition but for others the past is hard to let go. We have a lot of work to do here and we really need your prayers and support. We're on the look out for new property in a better location and we are excited about what the Lord has planned for us. I am also available for deputation and would love to come and share with your congregations what we are doing here in Pilot Point. Total Church Offering $788.99, Total Given to Missions $99.08, Total Received from Project for Salary $65.00, Average Attendance
