We have now ended the MBA of TX fiscal year for 2004-2005. It was a good year financially. The churches have continued to support the Missionary fund and it is greatly appreciated. It seems that the churches, like me, know that God has a plan for the funds we have. We just need to pray that He will reveal the plan to us so that the money can be used for His honor and glory.

By the time you read this report most of the local association meetings for 2005 will be history. We are now getting ready for the annual messenger meeting in November to be hosted by the Nevills Chapel MBC in Mt. Pleasant. We are getting the books ready to take to the Auditor. We have received the requests for Missionary support for the coming year. Things are happening!

Requests have been received from eight churches requesting salary for a Missionary during the 2005-2006 fiscal year. The following have requested funds from the MBA of TX: Kevin Bolding working in the Richmond-Sugarland area and sponsored by Twinland MBC of Houston; Larry Chalker working with Northgate MBC in Irving; Joel Clay working in LaMarque and sponsored by Baker Drive BC in Dickinson; Larry Frye working in Denton and sponsored by Longview MBC in Longview; Marvin Gardner working in Tyler and sponsored by Bethel MBC of New Waverly; Rickey Payne working near Wills Point and sponsored by First MBC of Duncanville;

Craig Rodgers working in Grapevine and sponsored by Golden Meadows BC in Garland; W. S. Taylor working in Fort Worth and sponsored by Central BC in Bedford.

All of these churches have submitted detailed information concerning previous work and plans for the future. If you have questions about any of them please get in touch with me. Pray for these men and the sponsoring churches that they will seek the will of God for each one of these works.

Hebrews 13:1 "Let brotherly love continue." Hebrews 13:2 "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."

To God be the glory for the great things He has done and is doing through His church. By now I am sure we are all aware of the devastation that has occurred as a result of hurricane Katrina. I am so very proud of the way our church has responded to this unfortunate event. I know that many people needs are being met because of the many churches that responded to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of our brothers and sisters that are impacted by this tragedy. Let us continue to pray for and minister to as many of our neighbors as we can, as well as provide the necessary resources to help families get back on their feet. Here at Hopewell we are working with a local camp to assist nearly 100 people from the Louisiana area, as well as assisting several families that are attending our services. It is such a joy to see our members come together and work in times like these. The Mission has donated $2,500.00 to help those in need. Some of the funds have been designated for Reach America. I thank God for Pastor Charlie Ellison and the Reach America organization for their efforts. God is so faithful!

We had one saved and baptized for the month. Hallelujah! The work here is progressing and there are many needs. However, all of our needs seem so insignificant right now. We are just praying that our friends and neighbors in Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi will recover quickly.

I will just ask that while you are praying to please pray that God will soon provide for us a building that will allow us to continue to add souls to the Lord's work here in LaMarque.

We extend our deepest appreciation to Smyrna BC, Mission Bend BC of Houston, Woodville MBC Ladies Auxiliary, Calvary MBC of Baytown, Unity MBC of Richwood, Florida Avenue BC of Beaumont and Baker Drive BC of Dickinson for your continued support. Thank you so much for considering our Mission.

Greetings. Faith had its first Faith Promise Conference in August. It was great. God is doing some great and wonderful things through this. Isn't it just amazing what God can do. Now, please be advised that we will organize this work on November 5, 2005. This will take place at 1651 Sam Bass in Round Rock, Texas around 10:30 a.m. and each of you are invited to share in the joy of this long-awaited occasion. Lunch will be provided. If you are planning to attend, please email me at royfikac1@aol.com or call 512-248-8693 and let me know how many from your church are planning to attend. This will help us to be able to serve you better. RSVP by October 15th.

If you approach Round Rock from I35 take the Sam Bass exit; run down to the light and take a right. You are officially on Sam Bass. Travel 2.3 miles and look to the left side of the road and you will see a marquee sign: Faith Missionary Baptist Church. That's the place. If you pass a 7/11 on your right, you went too far.

If you come into Round Rock from Hwy 79 just stay on 79 because 79 becomes San Bass Road. When you pass under I35, travel 2.3 miles doing all of the above. Shouldn't be any problem. If for some reason you experience difficulty on your journey, call 512-426-7027.

Come and share in our joy. It cannot be complete without your presence. May the Lord bless you and thanks for helping the Lord in bringing this time in our lives to pass.

Greetings from North Lake Baptist Mission! We were able to knock on over three hundred doors this month. We had some very positive responses. Pray for these. We baptized one this month. His name is Johnathon Shurbet. He is thirteen years old . He was saved during VBS and is eager

to learn.

Bro. A.J. Lawson has arrived. He is working with the youth and helping me with visitation, along with many other things. He is sure a blessing. We are not able to pay him very much at this time so if you would like to help him with salary, please do so. We would sure appreciate anything you could do. Please send it to our sponsoring church designated for him.

We have a young family that I have been ministering to. They have two pre-mature boys. They are sure in need of your prayers. This is the Hubble family. They have already come through a lot because of prayer but they are not out of the woods yet. Thank you so much for praying for them. It sure means a lot to the family.

Our Wednesday attendance averaged 20 this month and we had 6 visitors. How great it is to do associated work. There are some folks that help us that I have never met. I sure love the way the Lord chose to do His work and that is through His people. Thank you so very much for all that you do! You are such a blessing to us.

We can at least get down the street to our church now! We still have rocks and dirt piled all around us but they are letting some traffic through. It's been a long, agonizing wait and has really hurt us attendance wise and visitor wise. We've been cut off from the community pretty much all summer.

Because of the road situation we aren't in a position as yet to go off State salary. We had hoped to be at that point by now. So at the State meeting in November our sponsoring church, Central of Bedford, will be requesting half salary for six months and then possibly quarter salary for the last six months. By then we should be able to take on the whole load with the help of those of you who are faithful with your offerings each month. We will be doing some deputation to raise other support as needed. Thank you for supporting us thus far and continue to pray for the Lord to open the door for us to get our building up soon.

Our young adult class, and other members, have been very active in ministering to the needs of some of the flood evacuees who are in shelters here in the Fort Worth area. One of our ladies who is an RN has volunteered lots of hours dispensing medications, etc. We are blessed that God opened the doors for us to be of service.

Crossroads received a total of $1,094.00 from other churches. Thank you for your continued prayers. God bless you!
