It is with a very thankful heart that I write this report for the first month of the new year. It is apparent that God is blessing our State Mission work. The churches are generously giving and I am still praying for more God-called, church-sent Missionaries. I trust that each of you will be praying the same prayer.
By now each church should have received the new poster of our Missionaries for 2004. If your church did not receive one, please let me know and one will be sent right away. We did get some returned by the P.O. because of addresses.
The Texas Missions Conference will be coming up April 22nd and 23rd. I am so excited about the prospects of this Conference. Please register soon and let us know if you plan to set up a display table. Also, the rooms reserved at LaQuinta are only available at the special rate until April 7th.
You can print the registration form on the web page at www.mbaoftexas.org but you cannot register online.
Remember there is a committee receiving suggestions and comments about ways we can improve our Missions program. Please write them down and send to me at P.O. Box 450813, Garland 75045-0813. I will be happy to make a visit to your church or mission. Just let me know if you would like a visit by the Sec./Treas.
It is now the middle of February and I want to remind you about the special mission offering to be taken on Resurrection Sunday. It will be on April 11th this year and that is really Easter Sunday

There was lots of door knocking going on in January. More of our people were involved than ever before. We’re praying we’ll see results soon. Bro. R.L. Clark, pastor of Marshall Drive MBC in Grand Prairie, has volunteered to bring some of his men over in early March to help us canvas the neighborhoods around us. That will be a huge blessing and help to us. One of our men, Bro. Frank Hill, will be bringing a series of lessons on Revelation during our Sunday evening services. Our people are looking forward to that. Our square foot campaign continues to bring in money for the building fund each month. We sold $514.00 worth this month. Thanks to you who have participated. For those of you who haven’t, don’t forget - $45 will be one square foot of our new building. We now have a website. Visit us at www.crossroadsbaptistfortworth.com.
We received a total of $1308.00 from other churches. Continue to pray for God’s leadership in the work here.

The first Sunday of January we were honored to have Bro. and Sis. Reed with us. Bro. Reed shared information about State Missions and the Church Planning Ministry with the folks at Texas Avenue Baptist. It’s always a real joy to have the Reeds with us. That same Sunday we received Chris and Crystal Pricket by baptism. We had the privilege of baptizing this young couple in January, also. We are thankful for Chris and Crystal. Please pray for them as they grow in grace and knowledge. Thanks for your support of State Missions.

We had a fine couple join us this month. Gerald and Lavern Bridges. He is a retired Baptist pastor. He actually was pastor of our sponsoring church in 1968. They are going to be a blessing to us. There were two professions of faith this month. One was a 16 year old boy, invited by one of our young people and the other was a woman saved while we were door-knocking.
Brethren, we need your help like never before. We are desperately in need of a building on our property. We are maxing out our 1,000 sq. ft. rented building. I don’t want you to take away from any church or mission you are now supporting to give to us. I am not even asking for long- term support. I have always told my people that when the time comes we can count on our Sister churches to come to our aid. Well, this is the time, my Brethren. I am not asking this for myself but for my Lord and His church in Denton. Thank you very much for your help. I sure appreciate our supporting churches. May our Lord richly bless you is our prayer.

Yes! We are excited about another year of ministry here in Round Rock. We have many plans for the year of 2004. We are planning a revival in May; Vacation Bible School in June; Camp in New Mexico in July; and we also plan to organize in the Fall of this year. But, we still need your help with one small detail. We need your vote for the Texas Mission Development funds for this quarter. Those funds, along with those we have, will provide us with enough money to go down to the bank, refinance our loan and turn a $2400.00 a month payment into a $1000.00 a month payment, or less. This would make it possible for us to organize very soon. Please make this a matter of prayer. Thank you for your support. The Brethren of Faith salute you.

Dear Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ - Adhering to a Christ’s faith has many rewards but the one most received here at Pilot Point MBM is being enlightened by Christ. John 8:12 says "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." There’s no better feeling other than leading a lost soul to Christ than to helping a child to understand a little more about who Jesus is and about His being. We believe that Jesus wants us to do more than lead them to Him. He wants us to teach them. We here at Pilot Point MBM take the great commission seriously. Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20, "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." God forbid if we lead them to Christ and then forget about them. Too often we can fall into the trap of the numbers game. Sister Kathy and Bro. Jack are two of the most dedicated and hardest workers there are, and I praise and thank God for placing them here in the Mission to help teach these children the word of God. Oh, that there were more workers like them who would step up and take the challenge and joy of teaching.
Pray for us as we continue to make progress in our endeavor to become a full-fledged church one day. A few have responded to our request for support. Please, dear brothers and sisters, we ask you individually and as a church to consider sending a small offering of $10 or more a month to help us reach this goal. Ask God what He would have you do and remember the support you send helps keep us open and able to lead lost souls to Christ in Pilot Point. Thank you and God bless you all.
