I want to thank the churches of Texas for your continued support of our State Mission Fund. I thank you also for your confidence in me to administer these funds. It is my prayer that God is being honored and glorified in it all. It is also my prayer that soon we will have many dedicated, experienced Missionaries who are being paid from these funds to establish New Testament Churches. I trust you are praying for the same thing.
A reminder that September 15th is the deadline for churches to request support for a Missionary for the coming fiscal year. If your church is planning to request support for a Missionary and you have questions that I might answer, just let me know and I will be happy to come to your church for a visit and try to answer your questions. Also, I have the necessary forms for filing the request.
I will be glad to hear from you.

Psalm 34:1 "I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2: My soul shall make her boast in the LORD; the humble shall hear thereof and be glad.
3: O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
Greetings to the churches of the MBA of Texas. It is with great joy that I send our mission report for June. There were two saved in June and both will be baptized the first Sunday in July. Praise God for the great things He has done.
Our VBS 2005 began on June 20th with lots of excitement and enthusiasm. Nearly 58 workers and children enabled VBS 2005 to kick-off with huge success. We averaged 64 adults and children each night. For five nights our youth gave us an awesome treat in reviewing what they were taught. They did so with bravery and maturity beyond their years. This is a testimony of
the development and growth of Hopewell’s youth. Please pray for our youth and that God will send additional youth workers.
Hopewell’s Camp 2005 will begin July 11th and go thru July 15th. We have planned a week of fun and wholesome activities for our kids with two days of off-site trips. We covet your prayers for these endeavors as well.
Also, pray for us as we patiently wait on God for answers and direction concerning property or a building that will allow us to continue to add souls to the Lord’s work. We extend our deepest appreciation to Mission Bend BC of Houston, Woodville MBC Ladies’ Auxiliary, Calvary MBC of Baytown, Unity MBC of Richwood, Florida Avenue BC of Beaumont and Baker Drive BC of Dickinson for your continued support. Thank you so much for considering our Mission.

Well, well, well! It’s finally happened. We have sat down with the Lord and Modoc Missionary Baptist Church of Athens and agreed that the date for organizing this work will be November 5, 2005. We will hold the organization service at 10:30 a.m. (that’s a Saturday) and hope that you can be here to share in our joy. After all, you did help to make this happen. We thank you for having shared in this ministry.
Attendance - 49 in Sunday School, 69 in Sunday Morning Worship and 34 Sunday night - about the same on Wednesday; however, Wednesday is showing some improvement.
Just got back from Camp and it was great! Vacation Bible School in July; Faith Promise in August; Organization in November - much to do. We will appreciate your prayers.
Offerings averaged $1,100.00 a week. What can I say; its summertime. God is good and always faithful. May the Lord bless you and yours.

Greetings my Brethren in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! There were three professions of faith while we were door knocking. Please pray for the follow-ups on these.
We have hired an engineer to start designing the waterline. Please continue to pray for this. We believe the Lord has opened a door for us to keep this land and continue to go forward.
We had a very special youth group visit on a Wednesday from East Union Baptist Church in Hensley, AR. There were about eighty total. We went door knocking and had two accept Christ and got some good follow-ups. They also presented us with an excellent program that night. We sure had a great time! Thank you very much, East Union.
I had a great time at the ABA meeting. It was sure good to see everyone. Thanks for all of the encouragement. I had a great time in WV with City Reach There were 65 souls saved. Praise the Lord!
I am getting together a special team of prayer warriors. If you would like to be a part of this team please let me know and I will explain it in more detail. You can call me or write to me, or send an email to larryfrye@earthlink.net.
I am looking for some special helpers that would like to be a part of this mission work for a year. I need song directors, youth leaders, soul winners, etc. I want to organize this mission as soon as possible. Our original goal was five years and we have been here five years. I believe we could do it in two more years with your help. We have sure planted a lot of seeds here. Please pray about this. You could be exactly who we need.
I would like to thank our supporters. Thanks for all your prayers and your financial support. You are very special to me and this mission. I thank the Lord for you all of the time.

We’ve made it a month with both roads to our property blockaded off. It’s really taken a toll on our attendance, but one of our visiting families said, "This gives us a chance to get to know one another better." And that’s right - fellowship has been great and we have been really digging into God’s Word. We have lost some of the visitors we were having before the road construction began. One of our members was leaving the church after doing the weekly cleaning and was stopped by the police just as she pulled around the barricade. He asked why she did that and she told him she was coming from the church. He said, "That’s the only right answer you could have given" and let her go. It’s been interesting.
We’ve been approached by T-Mobile about the possibility of leasing a small portion of our land to place a phone tower. We’re just one of several possible locations for them so it may or may not happen with us. However, if it’s God’s will the money from the lease would allow us to begin construction on our building. Be in prayer with us about this.
We also learned this month that a developer is ready to begin construction soon on houses on the property adjacent to us on the east and on the south. We’re in a booming growth area.
We received a total of $1,243.00 from other churches and $190.00 was received from members and another church for the building fund. Once again, thanks to all of you who are faithfully supporting us. Please pray for us as we ride out the road construction and continue with the preparations to build.
