I want to express my thanks to the churches in Texas for continuing to be faithful in your Mission giving. God has truly blessed your faithfulness. I have no idea what God’s plan is for the funds we have on hand, but I am very seriously convinced that He DOES have a plan and that He will reveal it to us in His own time. In the meantime, let us continue to be faithful in our Mission giving.
"Therefore He said unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few: pray ye there- fore the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth laborers into His harvest." Luke 10:2
Also, a very special thank you to the churches and individuals who have given, or who plan to give, a special offering to the Heritage Housing Fund. This is a very good cause and we thank you for your generosity.

We send greetings to all of our brothers and sisters in Christ. There were two souls saved at Hopewell MBM in the month of March. Hallelujah! March was also a month full of activities for our Mission family that included a Women’s Prayer Brunch, Youth Easter Program, Youth Easter Activity Saturday, Sunrise Service, and Easter Morning Service. For our Easter Morning Service there were over 170 in attendance with around 25 guests; many of them first time guests. We also experienced another outstanding month financially with over 10K in total offerings and saw our building fund account top the 30K mark. We are excited about what God continues to do through this Mission. Pray that we will remain focused on the work He has set before us and that many more souls will be saved through our efforts. Praise God!
Many of you are aware that we suffered a huge loss of life during a recent refinery explosion in Texas City. I am an employee of BP and was at work at the time of the explosion. I was just one hour removed from the area that was impacted by the blast. I was blessed in that I wasn’t injured; however, there were fifteen people who died and many more that were injured. Some of the injured remain hospitalized. Please pray with us for the families that lost loved ones as well as for those that are injured. Pray also for the refinery’s employees as we try to remain focused amid such tragedy. May God be with us all.
Again, we extend our deepest appreciation to Mission Bend BC of Houston, Woodville MBC Ladies Auxiliary, Calvary MBC of Baytown, Unity MBC of Richwood, Florida Avenue BC of Beaumont, Baker Drive BC of Dickinson and all that support our work, for your continued support. Thank you so much for considering our Mission.

Greetings Brethren. Spring has sprung; we have moved our clocks forward one hour. With time as precious as it is, I much dislike giving up that hour. We would wonder how many there are who would like to have just one more hour; just one more chance to turn to our Lord. How many would like to have just one more hour to consider some of the decisions they have made?
We are trying to get things in order so we can organize. Our loan payment will soon go from $2,412.00 to $1,700.00 each month. We have found some ways to reduce our monthly utility bills. We trust the Lord to do all the rest.
While the Lord did not see fit to add to the work this month, we have had a good time in worship and service.
Attendance averaged 44 in Sunday School, 72 in Morning Worship, 28 on Sunday Night with about the same on Wednesday. Offerings averaged $1,300.00 a week.
We are making ready for revival, camp, VBS, and some retreats during the summer months. We thank the churches for their support of this work. God has used you in wonderful and marvelous ways. It is our prayerful hope that in the days that lie ahead that it will be the churches ( the sponsoring church) who remain in authority of mission work in Texas and on a national level as well.
May the Lord bless you with a great spring. Come and see us when you can. Sponsored by Modoc MBC of Athens, TX..

Greetings, My Brethren, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My loss and Mom’s gain. My Mother went to be with the Lord last week from West Virginia. I preached her funeral and the Lord gave me His Magnificent Grace to do so. She was 80 years old and ready to go. She was in a nursing home. When she got to where she could not look and cook a pot of pinto beans and bake a pan of biscuits or cornbread, she thought she was not living.
We did not have anyone saved here at the Mission this month but I was able to lead a lady to the Lord that worked at the King’s Row Inn in Texarkana. This was a divine appointment. I had been sick and was not planning to go but on Sunday Bro. Jonnie Brewster convinced me to get some antibiotics. I did and by noon on Monday was well enough that I took off. I praise the Lord for His direction. I sure did enjoy seeing everyone. I had a great time. It is always great to go to that conference. I thank all the speakers and also County Avenue for hosting this each year.
On Easter Sunday we had two families visit us who are looking for a church home. They have been back several times since.
I am still trying to work with the city about the water line problem. We also have our property up for sale at this time. Please pray the Lord’s will be done.
Thank all of you for your prayers and financial support. It is such a blessing to us. May the Lord bless you for your faithfulness to this work.

Greetings from Meadowbrook! March was an exciting month with the addition of two sweet ladies and a mother of three made a profession of faith and will be baptized in April. We are working on the property getting ready for a new paved parking lot. The days of trying to get in the church without tripping on the gravel will soon be just a memory. Praise God! We sincerely appreciate all who have supported this wonderful work. We are getting closer to becoming a self supporting church. With your prayers and continued support, we know this goal will soon be reached.

God blessed us with a great month. We had several first time visitors, along with those who continue to visit. Easter was our high attendance of the month with 45 present to enjoy the inspirational presentation by our choir and rejoice in the victory of our risen Lord.
Our hearts have been saddened by the announcement of one of our most faithful, hard working families that they will be moving from the Ft. Worth area because of a good job opportunity. These three fine folks of the Bobby Landers family will be sorely missed. Please pray with us that God will replace them with people who are as willing to be used in his service as this family has been.
We continue to knock doors and hand out info about Crossroads. God has asked us to go and He’ll be in charge of the results. We have two very good prospects visiting now.
We received a total of $1,217.00 from other churches. Thanks again to you who faithfully support Crossroads.
