Thank you so much for your support of Texas State Missions. Pray for the Lord to call more men to the mission field and pray that those whom He calls will answer the call. And pray that churches will answer the call to send forth men into the mission field. “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest that He will send forth laborers into His harvest.”
In November of 2007 the messengers of the Missionary Baptist Association of Texas voted to have a pre-associational meeting before the 2008 meeting. Arrangements have been made for that meeting. Pastor Paul Clark of Walnut Street MBC in Hillsboro has graciously invited the meeting to be held at their church facilities. The pre-associational meeting will be Tuesday, October 7th beginning at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will conclude when all discussion has finished. This is not a business meeting at all. No business will be conducted. This is a meeting held for the purpose of information exchange only. Each church is encouraged to take part in this meeting. Mark this date on your calendar so that you will have plenty of time to make any needed arrangements.

Please continue to pray for our outreach. There has been more interest about the Gospel from the apartment complexes around us.
Eighteen people gathered at 6:00 a.m. for a SonRise service on Easter Sunday. God brought new faces for our regular worship also, and many stayed for the fellowship meal.
Our new members are a blessing because they are faithful workers. This in an encouragement to all of us. We are continuing our study on James in our Monday night LifeGroup meeting. We pray that because of this outreach we are building relationships.

This month the weather has been better for making visits and knocking on doors. My wife and I visit homes and share the plan of salvation and invite people to come join with us and worship together.
This month we did not see any souls saved but we have visitors and they continue to come every Sunday. We are praying for them and we hope that very soon they will receive Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Landmark MBC in Mt. Enterprise is having English classes ministry. I am helping with this and teaching God’s Word. Please pray for us and may God bless you.

We are continually knocking on doors in the Tatum and Center areas. We have sent out forty invitations this month. Pray with us that God will bless the seed that has been sown. We are starting our new Discipleship program on Saturday evenings with Iglesia Bautista Emanuel in Center.
We have been installing the water and sewer systems in our small building. We are buying a sound mixer to help improve our worship services.
We have three men who are showing leadership potential. Soon they will be helping with the services. Continue praying for our works, please.

It is a blessing to pastor a mission and to be serving the Lord in Tyler. It is a great joy to begin a church and watch the blessings of the Lord in action.
We will be observing our ninth anniversary on April 13th. Bro. Sammy Eldredge, pastor of Timpson Missionary Baptist Church, will preach our anniversary message. We are anticipating a great service in the Lord.
Also, Vanderbilt is making plans for another good Vacation Bible School. Some of our members attended the VBS workshop at Calvary Baptist Church in Henderson and really enjoyed it.
We are continuing to have visitors in our morning services. Please continue to pray for us.

Greetings friends. March was a busy month. We are seeing new faces in just about every service. As I was watching a movie with my 14 year old son, the actor said, is this where you want to be when Jesus comes back? The question kept coming back to me, “Friends, are we truly doing what God wants? Are we where we want to be when our Lord returns?” My answer is yes. I can’t imagine myself doing anything else. This has been made possible the last four years, in part, due to the generosity of the churches of the MBA of Texas. My family and I love and appreciate all who have taken an active role in this blessed work. Please keep this pastor and his family in your prayers.

March was a rewarding month for our ministry. God is blessing the efforts to reach the community for Christ in a powerful way. We are constantly amazed as God continues to bless. Please pray for us as we seek God’s will for this work.
Easter services were wonderful. We had over 68 in attendance. It was a wonderful blessing to have many new faces in the congregation. We had many visitors at our worship services; several young families. AMEN! God is blessing this ministry. Please pray for these visitors.
We are making plans to host a VBS with Missionary Jerry Baker at the Navajo Nation. We are excited and anticipate having several in attendance from our churches. If you would like to go please contact me.
We are continuing to seek rental or purchase property for our next move. We are out of space for our children. Please lift us up in your prayers. We are in a space that requires a lot of juggling on Sunday mornings but we do consider our current location a blessing! We are confident that the Lord will provide space for growth soon. We are patiently waiting for His direction.
I have settled into my new position at work. My travel has been greatly reduced. This is a major blessing. Please feel free to contact me if you have any question or if you would like for me to share the work with your church.
