It is with an appreciative heart that a very large THANK YOU is given to each of our MBA of Texas churches for your continued support to our Mission program. Let’s each pray that the support will continue and when the annual messenger meeting comes around in November that we will have well qualified, God-called missionaries to go to work in areas where the Gospel is very desperately needed. Of course, the Gospel is needed everywhere, but there are so many of our Metropolitan areas where we have no true witness for our God. Pray also that God will call churches to become involved in sending out these Missionaries. It is a very important task for a church to sponsor a Missionary but it is well worth the prayers, the work, and the money to see that the true Gospel is preached.
The Committee that was appointed in November to study our Mission program and perhaps make recommendations for improvements, changes, and challenges met on June 1st. The Committee is prayerfully working in order to have some recommendations to present to the Messenger meeting that will be held with Mount Pleasant MBC in Denison this November. Please pray for your Committee as they seek to do God’s will regarding the Mission program.
If you would like a visit from the Secretary/Treasurer of Missions please let me know.

Our Spring Fling was a great success with the Lord providing good weather. We raised about $1,400.00 for our building fund and had lots of good fellowship while doing so. Billie and I have started a home Bible Study for new prospects. A young couple who have recently moved into our area and are attending Crossroads have been coming to our home for these classes for about 3 weeks. It is thrilling to study and visit with people who know little to nothing about God and His Word. They have hungry hearts and minds. Pray God’s guidance and will in their lives. They could be a great asset to God’s work. We won’t even offer excuses for attendance from now until summer’s over. Weddings, grads, vacations are taking their toll but we’ll survive. We still have lots of square feet to sell - yours for only $45 each! We received a total of $1,406.00 from other churches. Thanks to you who continue to help with our building fund and other expenses. You’re a great blessing!

We were glad to have Missionary Thampi Joseph with us in May. He is doing a good job in India. We were thankful to learn more about the Lord’s work in India. We are in the process of expanding our Missions budget. We are continuing the study of our basic doctrines. We are calling it "Basic Training" on Sunday nights. Please continue to pray for Texas Avenue Baptist Church as we go forward for the Master. We are thankful for each one of you who supports Texas Missions.

It is always a great honor to have so many of God’s wonderful people helping support a mission! Thank you so very much for your continual support of this work. You are a great blessing to us.
Our final plat plan has been approved and now we are working on getting a grading permit. The water line is still an issue. They have started two new tracts of houses about one mile from our property. There are several other tracts to be started in the near future. We need to get on this property. Please make this a matter of your prayer. We are in need of a fifteen passenger van. We have a small bus that we run but we are needing a van for a longer route that we are wanting to start. We are also needing more help on our land and building fund. Thank you so very much for your consideration in these matters.

We received one on statement; Sonya Steeples. We have been in revival with Bo Norris, Pastor of Rocky Springs, Dialville. Thanks to the church and family for loaning him out to us. Had a great time. It’s hot down here in round Rock. Looking into various areas in which we might be able to refinance our loan with the idea of bringing down that $2,400.00 each month. This is key to our future organization. We ask that you might be in prayer that the Lord grant us His wisdom in this matter. Hope you have had a great Memorial Day. We thank the men and women, and most of all the Saviour, who died that we might be free. Thanks for your prayers and support. We still need it. May the Lord bless you and we look forward to seeing you in Tucson.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Anticipations were high as school was coming to a close and time drew near to the closing ceremonies for Discovery for the summer. Some of the kids will be heading to their other parents for the summer and on long vacations until school starts again, but this doesn’t mean we will come to a stop. As soon as we return from youth camp Bible Boot Camp begins and those remaining children will continue to work on those skills of memorizing scripture and studying the Word of God. Door knocking efforts are on the foot with hopes of some accepting our offer to come and join us for service worshiping our God in truth. We’ve asked for a loan from the bank to purchase a 15 passenger van from a church in Gun Barrel City, TX. The bank has approved the loan and it came to $5,329.25 with payments at $246.14 each month. Please help us pay off this note. God bless you all that faithfully give every month to our Mission. Please continue to remember us. Love always in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Greetings to all of our Brothers and Sisters in Christ. May was another exciting month for the LaMarque Mission. There were 9 additional souls added to the body, including one for baptism. For the month we had over fifty first time visitors and interest in our mission remains high. The highlight of the month for us was on the fourth Sunday when my Pastor and wife, Bro. And Sis. Bozarth, shared Sunday morning services with us. Bro. Joe delivered an inspiring message to nearly eighty of our members and guests. I am also pleased to report that we are now supporting the Hispanic Mission of Fellowship MBC in Pasadena, in addition to four other Mission efforts. Continue to pray with us as we endeavor to reach as many for Christ as possible. We are looking to purchase a used van, preferably with low miles, to support our transportation ministry. If you know where we can get a great bargain, please let us know. We extend our deepest appreciation to Florida Avenue MBC, Woodville MBC Ladies Auxiliary, Calvary MBC in Baytown, Unity MBC and Baker Drive Baptist Church for your continued support. I am available for deputation work and would love to come and share with you and your congregation.
