We have eight Missionaries who are diligently working toward establishing self-supporting New Testament Churches. I am happy to be able to work with them and to encourage them along the way. I am thankful for all of our churches that provide the financial support necessary. The support, as well as your prayers, are a wonderful asset to our State Mission work. We have one or two Missions that are planning to organize later this year. I know that we will soon have others to provide for and I know that our churches will respond to the need.
Nancy and I are blessed to have the privilege of visiting among the churches to represent our Missionaries and their work. To this date (June 7th) we have visited in 35 different churches since January 1st. Most of these visits have been for regular services and others for Mission Rallies or Mission Conferences. We appreciate the invitations to come for a visit. Please pray for our health and safety as we travel. If you would like for us to visit your church, please give us a call.

May was another good month for the Emmanuel MBM. For the first time ever we did not set a new attendance high but we did see continued steadfastness among the members. We continue to spread the Gospel in the Fort Bend County area and are seeing souls saved. We have continued to see interest in the church in the neighborhoods as we visit. We are urgently looking for a new place to meet. The air conditioning in the building we are now using does not work and will not be working any time soon. We realize that meeting space is at a premium in this area but we know that our Lord will provide both the space and the funding. We are also looking for land for a permanent home. Please pray for us in both of these areas.
We have been talking to a couple of families that are interested in becoming part of the work. They know the Lord and are looking for His will. Please pray for us daily.

This month we received a couple by letter, as well as a young woman for baptism who was raised a Buddist. God is so good! We are still using Sunday afternoons for outreach. New guests are still coming. Five of us are excited about going to Pine Springs Youth Camp in June. None of the kids have ever been to camp.
Thanks for your prayers. Our ladies are continuing their Bible study on Tuesday nights. They seem to be growing spiritually from this. We are about to begin a class for ministering to the deaf. One of the members will be teaching this in hopes of reaching out to the community as soon as possible.
We thank you for your prayers and support.

"And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity." I Cr.13:13In the matchless name of Jesus, we send greetings. The month of May was a great month for the Mission in that we had three more souls to trust Jesus as Lord and Savior. We also added nine new members with two baptisms. Praise the Lord! We are still having a large number of first time guests visiting with us on Sunday mornings.
Our Men's Brotherhood, Men Of Hope, hosted their first Mother's Day breakfast. We had a good turnout and great fellowship. The men prepared the food, served and waited tables for all of our Moms. Believe it or not, the food was actually pretty good.
We are also excited to share that we had our graduates sit in service this month. Seven of our young men and women will graduate from area high schools. Most will move on to become college students and one will be joining the Armed Forces. Please pray for these, as well as all of our other youth.
We are still awaiting a reply from the Trustees of Heritage Baptist Institute on the offer we made them to purchase the property we are currently calling home. We are praying God's will be done.
Thanks to those who contribute regularly, as well as the one-time donations. Please continue to partner with us prayerfully and financially as we endeavor to reach our new goal of 100 K. The Lord provides. As always, I am grateful to Mission Bend BC of Houston, Calvary MBC of Baytown, Florida Avenue BC of Beaumont and Baker Drive BC of Dickinson for your continued support. I want to thank you for making this Mission possible. Without you, and others like you, without the monetary gifts and prayers for this Mission, we could not do the work that we do for Christ. I say this with much love and an abundance of blessings.

I sure had a great time at Quaker Avenue MBC in Lubbock this past week. There were 13 professions of faith from door-knocking. There were two additions and several other decisions. It was the best revival I have been involved with for a while. I believe the last time I saw results like this in a revival was when Bro. Roger Copeland preached for me in Las Vegas. These folks at Quaker Avenue MBC had been spending much time on their knees to God for this revival. The first night the altar was full of prayer warriors. It was sure exciting. It was like "the good old days" I have read about.
I pulled up at Larry Chalker's house in Irving to do some door knocking and when I got out I saw a man pushing a baby carriage. He stopped at the bus stop and when he did the Lord impressed upon me to go and witness to him. The Lord saved him and his cousin before the bus arrived. It doesn't take ten lessons, my friend. It only takes the Gospel and someone wanting to receive it. Praise the Lord! I'm glad it's simple!
We had one come forward to be baptized. His name is John Rettinger and he is my son-in-law. We have been praying for him for a long time. Please pray that he will become a great servant for the Lord.
The Hispanic congregation is such a blessing to us! I had another meeting with them. They are praying about joining the ABA. They voted to give us twenty thousand dollars for the building fund that they have been saving for at least five years. I can't believe how generous they are. Please keep them in your prayers. They are some great people! We are going to start an English class and an Hispanic class on Monday nights at different times. I know this is going to be a blessing. I ask that you lift them up in prayer and their decisions.
What a great group of folks we have supporting us! I sure am thankful to the Lord for all of your support. You are very special to the Lord's work here. Thank you and may the Lord bless you.

May was a busy month for us. We attended a Youth Rally with University MBC in Tyler and a Mission Rally with Bassett Road MBC in Palestine. Also, I had the privilege to preach the ordination message for Bro. Leland Acker. He was called as pastor at Denson Springs MBC.
The Lord is continuing to bless us with good prospects for our church. I am confident we are going to have some additions in the near future. Our young people are getting ready to attend Youth Camp in July. We have about 32 going to Camp, including sponsors and young people.
We had our closing ceremonies for Discovery Club on May 31st. Our children were very excited about this service. The program proved to be a great blessing to our church. We celebrated with a pizza fellowship after the service.
Please continue to pray for us and look us up on the web at www.vbctyler.com.

Greetings! May has been a very busy month. We are getting ready for Vacation Bible School and are also in the process of trying to raise the remainder of the funds needed to send 28 people to Youth Camp. God is showing our youth just how faithful and caring our brothers and sisters are. At the end of May, we were only $900.00 short of the funds that are needed. Isn't our Lord truly wonderful!
We would like to say thank you to the Churches who have been so faithful in their support of Meadowbrook MBM.. May our Lord bless all that you do. Please keep us in your prayers.

The work in Grapevine is growing in a mighty way! We are excited about how the Lord continues to work in the hearts of those in this community.
Here are some highlights for May:
*Preparing for our first Vacation Bible School in the area. We are praying for 100 children.
*We have entered the vision casting sessions for the church plant. This is an awesome experience. Please pray for this effort.
*We have four registered to go to the MMI Mission trip to Tanzania in September. Please pray for Larry, Bego, Heather and Kevin.
*We held two baptism services in May for seven who have accepted Christ.
*Each Sunday the attendance continues to grow.
*We have had four visiting families in May.
*We have reached capacity in our building. We are seeking the Lord's will in this situation.
*The 8k sq. ft. property that was available in the immediate area has many issues involving property easements. We will not continue the discussions. Thank you to Bro. Reed for the leadership through this process.
We are making our final plans for the ABA Messenger Meeting in June in Daytona Beach. We look forward to seeing everyone at our booth.
Please allow me to share the blessings of the work in Grapevine at your church. At this time we are available to share the work with your church. Our biggest need is prayer as we seek a new meeting location and building funds. May the Lord bless you.

The month of May was a good month for attendance in spite of what the averages say. Forty-five attended one worship service and thirty-nine were in another. Memorial Day skewed the average. The Missionary/Pastor and wife were gone that day attending graduation of our granddaughter, an honor student, at Needville High School. Some of our other people chose that day to be somewhere else. We also experienced a drop in offerings through the mission after a succession of gradually increasing monthly offerings. Hopefully, this is an anomaly. One family of seven who are faithful attenders will be out for about six weeks beginning the first of June. The father is employed in California.
More children have been attending so serious plans are underway for a children's Bible Memory Club on Sunday evening.
We have been so blessed to receive $1,279.30 from other churches and friends this month, above the contribution from the State Association for salary. This amount includes $400.00 from our sponsoring church, Central BC in Bedford, for salary. We are also humbly thankful for a second offering recently from the Central Texas District Ladies Auxiliary in the amount of $350.00 Some of our ladies attended a retreat for the Central Texas District Ladies Auxiliary at Lake Lavon Baptist Encampment and enjoyed it very much.
Thank you all very much and may God bless you abundantly.
