Emmanuel MBM of Sugar Land continues to spread the precious seed of the shed blood of Jesus Christ to this lost and dying community. While continuing to spend two mornings each week knocking doors. I am also beginning to witness in two different malls in the area. Please pray that things will go as well as they have in the past with this ministry. I have used this method of evangelizing for the past two falls and winters. This allows new contacts even on rainy days. We did find out during the month that we will have a new landlord for the building we meet in We had a wonderful relationship with the one that we had before so please pray that the lord will bless us with another good relationship. I have already been able to invite the representative from the new leasing agency to our services.
During the month of September I attended the Mission Valley Association
and have been involved in some mission rallies around the area.
I have truly been blessed by being able to meet with my brothers
and sisters in Christ who share a concern for the lost. I am looking
forward to being able to attend more local association meetings
in October, including our own meeting in South Texas. My sponsoring
church has decided to ask for full salary for another year from
the messenger body of the Missionary Baptist Association of Texas.
This is much needed as we try to do God’s work full time
in Sugar Land and the surrounding area. My sponsoring church continues
to seek a church that will step up beside her and take co-sponsorship
of this mission. The biggest need is help with the $1,800.00 per
month lease payment. We would like to be able to pay this and
begin devoting funds toward the purchase of property in the near
future. Any church that can help with this need please send offerings
to Twinland MBC, 16300 Wallisville Rd, Houston, TX 77049. Of course,
I am available to come at any time and answer any questions at
713-492-4837. Thank you to the following that sent offerings;
Twinland MBC, Houston, James Dixon, Amazing Grace MBC in Cleveland,
Calvary MBC of Livingston, Magnolia MBC of Magnolia, Frontier
MBC of Angleton, Twinland MBC and Twinland MBC Youth Department.
Thank you also to those who are faithfully praying for us.

The men had 13 at the first “men’s breakfast.” We are hoping to grow in number each month and build strong family leaders at Northgate.
The Romanians have been a tremendous encouragement to us. With their soft and sweet nature, we are amazed at their faithfulness. They drive from long distances to worship together each Sunday evening.
God is sending first time guests our way each week. With so many
new faces, we are trying to bond and minister as we meet. Our
church family seems to be getting closer and realizing it is about
the Lord and His harvest. If anyone wants to know more about the
work in Irving, feel free to contact me.

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.”
God’s blessings to all. It is with great joy that we share this report to all who have supported our work and to those who continue to offer support and prayer. September was another exciting month for the mission. We had an attendance high of 345 for our annual Family and Friends service and we received another candidate for baptism. We added four new members to the work.
How awesome is this? Our sponsoring church, Baker Drive Baptist Church of Dickinson, and the Hopewell MBM are working together to organize the mission on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. We are excited and pray that all who have supported this work can be in attendance. Bro. Marion Reed will be our guest speaker for the service. Please come out to share in this historic occasion. God is so faithful!
Thanks to those who contribute regularly, as well as those who
give one-time donations. Please continue to partner with us prayerfully
and financially. The Lord provides! I am grateful to Texas Mission
Development, the MBA of Texas, Mission Bend BC of Houston, Calvary
MBC of Baytown, Florida Avenue BC of Beaumont and Baker Drive
BC of Dickinson. Without you, and others like you, without the
monetary gifts and prayers for our Mission, we could not do what
we do for Christ.

The month of September was a month of surprises. Our attendance was up and down. We do have visitors who are coming but we did not have any additions. I am praying that God will burden the hearts of those who visit to come our way. I realize that God is in control of all things, but I do want more additions to our fellowship. The fellowship in our church is wonderful but we need more to unite with us to help build a great church for the honor and glory of God.
I am looking forward to our State Association meeting. I love
to visit with God’s people and hear the reports concerning
God’s work in Texas. If you are in the Tyler area, we would
love for you to visit our services.

The month of September has been a rewarding month for our young ministry. God is blessing the efforts to reach the community for Christ in a powerful way. We are constantly amazed as God continues to bless. Please pray for us as we seek God’s will for this work.
We experienced many coming forward, seeking to follow God’s will for their lives. We have also had many visitors this month - several young families. We have also had two that accepted Christ and were baptized! Amen! God is blessing this ministry.
We are continuing to seek rental or purchase property for our next move. We are out of space for our children. Please lift us up in your prayers. We are in a space that requires a lot of juggling on Sunday mornings. We do consider our current location a blessing! We are confident that God will provide space for growth soon. We are patiently waiting for His direction.
We are participating in the Christmas box delivery for Bro. Jerry Baker. He is a Missionary to the Navajo Nation. Please feel free to contribute to this cause.
I accepted a new position at work. My travel will be greatly
reduced. This is a major blessing! Please feel free to contact
me if you have any questions or if you would like for me to share
the work with your church.

The construction process is well underway. This week the doors and windows should be in and then the building should be getting in the dry. Our brick layer should begin somewhere in the second week of October. The building cost, so far, totals $55,260.00. The balance in the building fund is $98,682.86. The Lord will send us $47,000.00 to finish paying for our project for Him. Continue praying for the work here in Gainesville. God bless you all.
