We are now Life Touch Missionary Baptist Church. Our first night of GROW was a success. Eleven people came for visits, writing letters and phone calls. We have had several responses as a result of this outreach.
People seem free to openly write their spiritual needs on our new response cards. As a result of one lady requesting marriage counseling, her husband was saved.
One of our teenagers is operating the power point. We are so
thankful for the knowledge of our young people, as well as their
willingness to help out. The Monday night Bible study is going
good. We are bonding together as we learn of God’s plan
for our lives.
Thank you for praying for the church in Irving.

September was not a good month attendance-wise. Severe illness
in our church family and Hurricane Ike did not help our attendance.
The good thing about the month was that the Lord blessed us with
some good prospects for our church. We praise Him for these blessings.
We are expecting more additions in the near future.
Vanderbilt hosted the Tri-County Missionary Baptist Association on September 20th. We had a good meeting and a great lunch. Our ladies did an outstanding job preparing for the noon meal.
I am looking forward to the Pre-Associational meeting in Hillsboro.
Please continue to pray for us and come see us when you can.

Greetings once again from all of us here at Meadowbrook. We are
still reaching the lost in the name of our Lord Jesus. This pastor
is only human and he makes mistakes. Friends, our Lord knows the
work of reaching the lost is not a one man job. I thank our Lord
daily for the people he has brought into my life. I am thankful
for everyone who has said a prayer for this wonderful work. You
have had a part in the changing of lives here in North East Texas.
Dear Friends, Meadowbrook is not a mistake and lives are being
changed. Please continue to pray for this pastor and the work
God has been so kind to give him to do.

The month of September was a rewarding month for our young ministry. God is blessing the efforts to reach this community for Christ in a powerful way. We are constantly amazed as God continues to bless. Pray for us as we seek God’s will for this work.
We had three participate in the Medical Missions trip to Africa. The trip was a tremendous blessing. Over 900 people accepted Christ. .AMEN! We have lost two families due to driving distance and gas prices. They were traveling over 45 minutes to come to worship service. We are praying for them as they seek God’s will for their lives.
We are continuing to seek rental or purchase property for our
next move. We are out of space for our children. We are in a space
that requires a lot of juggling on Sunday. We are blessed to have
our current location. We are confident that the Lord will provide
space for growth soon. We are patiently waiting for His direction.
Please pray for us.
We are participating in the Christmas Box Project with Bro. Jerry
Baker who is a Missionary to the Navajo Nation. Please feel free
to contribute to this great cause.
Feel free to contact me if you have questions or if you would like for me to share the work with your church. May God bless you.

September has been a good month for our missionary work. We have had our regular services and other special activities. God allowed us to help people who were affected by Hurricane Ike. We lodged twenty people in our church. We provided lodging, meals, and the Gospel.
We had a revival the last week of September. We knocked on doors
for five days and we had four days of special services. We won
five persons to Christ and two were baptized. Please continue
to pray for us.

This month was really active for Iglesia Bautista Emanual. On September 27th we had our first anniversary. Sixty-two (62) people attended and our small building was really full. We had fellowship under the carport. Please pray to the Lord that He will supply us with a fellowship hall. We also received one new member who was accepted by letter.
We have continued working in Tatum. Someone offered us the use of an old building in Tatum so we can have services right in the middle of town. The air conditioning unit was stolen and we are waiting for the replacement to be done. The cost will be $1,500.00.
Bro. Pedro Pina and I started knocking on doors in Longview. We knocked on about 20 doors but only three opened their doors to us. My wife and I are the ones who go and have the Bible Study with those who open their door to us. We ask you to pray for this new
